gray dandelion seedheads stream from reveries of yore
to where i thought enchantment wasn't meant to be or for
a fool as gullible as i have always been, my dear
and as i watched the way they danced poetically, my tears
fell from the holiest of places in my brawling heart
and then beheld the way we waltzed a lovely sea of art
against that dream's endearment as blue skies would captivate
the very face of all eternity and all of fate
the field we frolicked in as we would laugh and as we'd play
endears my memory with all i held that lovely day
though oh, you felt it wasn't meant to last yet you still swore
that you would always be for me my dear, dear, sweet amore
then as you ever thought to go away like as the sun
gray dandelion seedheads blew from where our love begun

Tonight I reminisce, tonight I die
Tonight I reminisce, tonight I die
I walk with all my burdens on my back
I do my best, oh Lord knows how I try
To make it there yet deep within I lack
My tears expose me as a weary man
I wonder if there is a place for me
And if there is, should I believe I can
Survive the ugliness my spirit sees
I sense the fiery buried in my heart
Has fabricated all my virtue now
While through it all I've learned to join and part
With bitterness and strife, my only vow
In which I won't forgive her for her ways
Will linger animosity always
While through it all I've learned to join and part
With bitterness and strife, my only vow
In which I won't forgive her for her ways
Will linger animosity always
For that which lies in my darkest words
When angel's cry as grieved tortured birds
Lie close to me, take me in your flight
Hold me, hold me, oh ever so tight
Let this day fall between my fingers
Take a moment to beautifully linger
In deepness my despair will save
Your broken heart before the grave
But what is day without the night
Do tell me for whom you'd shine your light
If you had not once left me so
Just let things be without the flow
Of tendency when rain does fall
My life for you, please take it all
I lie in the dear sweet echo of
Life that dared to forget me, love
So let me hear you'll not deny
The reason that I so often cry
I've learned of pain I had begotten
To die alone, easily forgotten
Lie close to me, take me in your flight
Hold me, hold me, oh ever so tight
Let this day fall between my fingers
Take a moment to beautifully linger
In deepness my despair will save
Your broken heart before the grave
But what is day without the night
Do tell me for whom you'd shine your light
If you had not once left me so
Just let things be without the flow
Of tendency when rain does fall

Away, beyond my lovely brunette
Her story so tragic, a lifeless endeavor
How seldom it is that we forget
To retrieve what I thought no time can away
In every moment we always had kept
I needed her, so, to live I have withered
Away, beyond the moment she slept
To mask this away I knew not to cry
But bury all of my pain deep within
While angels do tell of a life once endured
By her fated release of a way into sin
And no answer can be enough to make sure
That hopefulness dawns deep beyond my life
I needed her, so, to live I have withered
Pouring despair while wailing my eyes
Please tell me will you help me
To relieve my love and pain
For every ghostly image
Wishing to see me die in vain
For every wrong I've done
I'll reap what I have sown
Then pray to the wisdom above
To greet me when I go
So bless my words engraved
In the minds of those that read
My book of poetry within
Every thought that I have shed
Pushing me to carry on
Through the gift that God had chose
To give to me so selfless
Until my book does close
And by each step I've taken
Please promise me tonight
That I'll never be forgotten
At the end beyond this life
And when heaven will smile down
To receive me in embrace
This is what I'll leave for you
The gift that God had gave
To relieve my love and pain
For every ghostly image
Wishing to see me die in vain
For every wrong I've done
I'll reap what I have sown
Then pray to the wisdom above
To greet me when I go
So bless my words engraved
In the minds of those that read
My book of poetry within
Every thought that I have shed

At the end beyond this life
