i scribe
the mimicry of poetic,
lost in transient hues,
life flashes submerge
my soul as i
utterly drown
reaching a hand above
my gasping heart while beckoning,
oh, how i beckon to heaven yet...
i am
unheard
where is my muse who swore
she'd never go?
just know without you, love, just
know
that i scribed merely
the mimicry of poetic...

undying angel, my sweetest gift,
there are no shadows that can veil you away from me
for how easily you have ever,
ever reduced me softly to my secret self
through tears of joy and of no sweeter sorrow
than how my lips remain ungifted
to touch your very own
i have vowed to love you... secretly;
you, my beautiful Moira...
and i truly, truly do.
there are no shadows that can veil you away from me

through tears of joy and of no sweeter sorrow

and i truly, truly do.
beneath my veiled brown eyes i
dreamed
a whisper to my soul
by my fair muse whose aura
gleams
and lives to make me
whole
she swore with her undying
breath
as intimate as love
that here beyond my mortal
death
my words will be thought
of
then wrapped me warm in both her
wings
while lulling me to
tears
which gave me faith for
everything
i've poured throughout the
years
and oh, her heart, it pillowed
me
until my essence
slept
and soon i crumbled to
debris
while beauty softly
wept
I write to the night that avails me
By my pen, so my muse does fate in my words
Depth, that derives from my essence
Haunting me deep as my restlessness stirs.
of blood and ink and of my truest thoughts
that once revived my heart to bear this whole
when love was love and lover's never sought
'twas Euterpe who would vouch for my poor soul
she sent to me when I was but a child
and came to me within a dream, you see
across the moor, across the murky wild
my other half who waited there for me
and how I have embraced that very cause
to satisfy the soul of one who dwells
within my heart to intrigue all the laws
of love and of sweet poetry to tell
I found my love, my love found me alone
eternally she's all I've ever known
| she's a poetess who masks fantasies beneath her alluring eyes, convulsing in soul so she may empty her persuasion while dwindling hours feel for their pulse the secrets in her laden heart, calm and pretty by the trickling of her pouring tears, often escape to the canvas' face (because she's more of an artist than anything) and sacrifice their purity for her audience's circulating delight she's a poetess-- one who has seldom known the truth of love nor has ever felt the breath of a lover against her silken flesh (and who has only thought to draw out her deepest yearnings) but oh, at intervals like honey i sense i can honestly say, for her seducing gift alone, that i love her... this desirable poetess. |
By this I undoubtedly enrapture the might
Of my greatest esteem: my fair muse through the night
Whom I desperately evoke by the brilliance of thought
Of my greatest esteem: my fair muse through the night
Whom I desperately evoke by the brilliance of thought
Within this low chamber it's her love I have sought
And by every vow I had gave through each breath
That all my dear dreams may reflect beyond death
Bleed what I write of through my fantasies keep
To span from the joy and the sorrow I weep
So by the bright dealings she holds up so high
I greet the sweet joy that ripples her eye
While the anguish she learned to free from my heart
No longer remains for the fact we won't part
And so it is stated by the wisdom I've writ
Through how she embraces and feeds off my wit
Our bond is our fate, she's my darling, my bride
And the one who ignited my spirit inside
And by every vow I had gave through each breath
That all my dear dreams may reflect beyond death
Bleed what I write of through my fantasies keep
To span from the joy and the sorrow I weep
So by the bright dealings she holds up so high
I greet the sweet joy that ripples her eye
While the anguish she learned to free from my heart
No longer remains for the fact we won't part
And so it is stated by the wisdom I've writ
Through how she embraces and feeds off my wit
Our bond is our fate, she's my darling, my bride
And the one who ignited my spirit inside
Why did the sun not rise today
The moon was here last night
I do not understand the way
I do not understand the way
The sun refuses flight
Where are the morning birds that sing
Where is my mind's intent
To mark down through my everything
The words that beauty sent
I grasp the reasons love can't shine
I know this moment's not
The mark of faith which can design
Just what today forgot
The things that I have grown used to
Have drifted far from me
I wish someone could tell me true
Just who I'm meant to be
It's much too quiet in this void
I feel my muse has fled
The way I wrote she once enjoyed
But now my music's dead
A single note of beauty would
Impress upon the rise
Of all that I had understood
When looking in her eyes
But now is really sometime when
I never knew a rhyme
As lovely as the thoughts within
My poetry sublime
Deep in my mind that acts as my true sightI hide beneath the cloak of my daydreams
While knowing only when I wish too bright
The things I feel within the way life streams
While knowing only when I wish too bright
The things I feel within the way life streams
And by the breadth and height of all I've veiled
I'll shine as validly as what my soul
Does wish for you, oh if my love had failed
Then I'll conceive to let these words console
I'll shine as validly as what my soul
Does wish for you, oh if my love had failed
Then I'll conceive to let these words console
In how you sometimes seem to doubt wherein
If I were more assuring then dear muse
You'd take a look at all the beauty in
Your every ounce of fairness I enthuse
You'd take a look at all the beauty in
Your every ounce of fairness I enthuse
I here attest my truest thoughts that brim
Beyond the depth while all my feeling's whim
Beyond the depth while all my feeling's whim
i walk the finest line between
a mortal death and a life within
a mortal death and a life within
a dream to last and last, it seems
my life in poetry remains
the only way i can escape
the weariest of all my thoughts
as i pour my ugliness, i take
and mold, and mold, and mold again
until my muse declares 'enough!'
my words in hope to breathe a verse
so beautiful it sings thereof
what circumstances i've endured
here in my heart, and mind, and soul
and oh, by this gentle affair
my thoughts will stay, they will not go
oh, with these mere delights of beauty's cause
which by your weary heart are seldom seen
i'll veil the moon, the sun and nature's laws
to have you to myself my lovely queen
so nothing but the stars and space and time
will then enchant your soul to bring anew
the music of our fate: sweet heaven's chime
and grant the darkness in your mind adieu
but such things i cannot do on my own
i'll need your breath and spirit to create
that perfect place: a place where kisses blown
can break through all the chaos; i'll await
until we meet within our dreams again
please keep these thoughts to ease your deepest pain
My truest feelings in my darkest words
Bleed beauty on the page, my muse's eyes
Unveil the eloquence I write disturbed
She captures all the corners of my mind
I hold within the night beneath the stars
The pen which can engrave my murky dreams
And oh, she castles all that paints my heart
To shelter me in solace endlessly
oh, a dance
intervened between the lines
of her every song:
the delight
which
sought
to take my heart
i yearn, i yearn
as her calming rhythm
endows no more than
perpetual essence
for how she weaves
as her soul enkindles
undyingly of
devotion
how can i not adore
the beauty in her voice...
when i love her?

the delight
which

to take my heart

oh me, what brilliance you intend
to bestow of impressionable thought
by that sheer fire that stirs within the soul
with a passion from where your surge had sought
by that sheer fire that stirs within the soul
with a passion from where your surge had sought
life alters in verse your highest wonder
between the lines of its philosophy
though indeed how you move your host to crown
an esteem so you may echo softly
while so genuine no word unravels
it conceives solitarily in birth
to what beauty does derive from your breath
dear poetry how you honor my worth
