Here by the candlelight alone in the night
Beyond my belief as I bury my woes
I know you will find the words I convey
Painted on the door for the things that I hold
By the shattering point of my thoughts that embrace
Everything I ask you to surrender for me
To have us together beneath coated skies
And not die in the very first moment I weave
All in all by my life and the ripen day
And that radiance burning within you, the night
Becomes my companion while I long for your heart
Sensing you'll find on the wall that I write
My confessions of love that I'll surely endow
To you as I search for all that I've lost
For what I believed to have seen in your pain
And how you take me from the places I've crossed
So what I will scrawl for you on the wall
Pours from my heart and soul which does mirror
Things in your thoughts that will soon lock away
The beauty you bare and unveil through your tears

Evil this world can stress on her heart
I long for the secret of how it can change
Along with the things that have made up the minds
Of her guardians above to bless this life whole
And love that such a chance had gave way
To fate which tells of a story that flows
By way of her life and inspiriting essence
May her moment to birth be separate from harm
Far past the moment when tears from her eyes
Glisten as she holds her newborn in her arms
While loved ones gaze on the miracle which God
Had blessed within every ounce of this bundle
And drown in that grace every time that she glows
With her little one warm in the blanket to cuddle
through all my feelings of deep wonder
engraved within a poem
like candlelight that shone against
the mirror, that once had shown
through the eyes of all my reasons
passing time away
all my thoughts that will take me there
beyond my selfish ways
hear my whispers as my words
do cling to honest hope
see me deep within dimensions
of merging winding roads
that created but this single path
i'd never known existed
it's time i learned to take whatever
endeavors had persisted
to plant a tree within my life
of eden's poison apple
things that once forbade me so
to crawl beyond the shadows
not too soon, it was you who felt
across the stories laced
things that once looked down on me
in all your goodness, and for grace
