moth

i love that fire
which burns in accordance
to their own dreams

the passion they bestow
through depth and by
their chaos:
forever instilled
so beautifully.

through the pages and paintings
and chapters so long
as i embrace the
colors-
i am an unleashed moth

yearning for the next
moment they conjure another
perfect musing.

i am indeed in love
with poets.

The Condition of Conflict

Warning: Strong language

call me a dreamer 'cause I'm often in my head
dear lord am I evil for the tears I don't shed?

see, I can't help it, not at all, my mind swerves and it spins
there are days when the craziness invites itself in
this whole world is a shit hole, we're all livin' in fear
even the wide-eyed are blind to what they see in the mirror
sometimes I fall to the darkness that society bestows
not knowing the difference between my friends and my foes
for all the bad out there who can truely understand?
there just aren't enough answers to the questions at hand
the devil grins with a veil over humanities eyes
now how the fuck are the cosmos supposed to hear all our cries
you see, what's done in the dark will never fail to find light
it's uncommon nowadays for one to stand up and fight
oh, this is how it is, my every day is unjust
so how the hell am I to take it when I'm bound to combust?

muted silver

i see no way, no way, no way
things as such could lie in me
the words I often do convey
reveal a mystery
frail in tone to be exact
the light for which I wish
distorted, tedious and abstract
sort of discolor-ish
i write of things I've failed to do
with black ink and of weight
which sent this to impair me through
the things I can't create
life's preciousness upon this day
has altered to debris
i see no way, no way, no way
things as such could lie in me

Beauty's Cause

oh, with these mere delights of beauty's cause
which by your weary heart are seldom seen
i'll veil the moon, the sun and nature's laws
to have you to myself my lovely queen
so nothing but the stars and space and time
will then enchant your soul to bring anew
the music of our fate: sweet heaven's chime
and grant the darkness in your mind adieu
but such things i cannot do on my own
i'll need your breath and spirit to create
that perfect place: a place where kisses blown
can break through all the chaos; i'll await
until we meet within our dreams again
please keep these thoughts to ease your deepest pain
