lover

thinking only of
your unblemished beauty
i stood
like a silhouette against
the bloodless moonlight
that painted against our bedroom window

wanting you, yearning, anticipating
the way you'd always touch
me

and then you whispered
what i have adored for ages
sending sensations that always melt
my tasting heart
throughout my body

i began to feel
you grazing your fingers along my back while
you danced them as caresses--
intermingling with shadow and light

then as each beat of my heart
became closer to the next
you placed your lips upon my neck
willing to feed me
your ideal passion

beneath my veiled eyes
time was no more as your every sin
pulsed madly within
my soul

i love you...
this is all i sense i know

The Estranged Charlatan

i'll carve my truest thoughts into the wall
tonight with hope that you will hear my plea
the clock once told me one day i would fall
yet never whispered how i'd not be free
the pain i feel invites my heart to break
the winter snow drifts beauty for awhile
although i have nowhere to go, i'll make
the best of this in thinking of your smile
there is a scythe that hides within the wind
it holds your voice and tells me you don't care
oh i apologize for how i sinned
i never meant to bring you such despair
you tossed me to the streets with no remorse
and cried how you could do with a divorce

unrighteous salvation

Photobucket
from this there seems to be
no escape
as I sense an angel whose beauty
unveils
my heart

and while her essence molds
the reaping of
what I have ever
longed to know

a tear trickles by the notion that
deliverance
may unceasingly
desire to
corner her

yet
through her
I wish our Father would grant me
my one chance
to redeem my empty-handed soul

if only
she might remember
what it is to love
and know again
the touch
of empathy

and if to fall with her
could
be a blessing
then I wish go
way of all flesh
and
liberate her
from that
unrighteous salvation

Never Enough

Love is the pistol in the guise of pure lust
Fired in the name of a desolate soul
She said that she would always be there for us
That she would never think to let me go
I'm stupid for the things I was lead out to believe
Through that soft, soft light I sensed in her heart
And when that faint light drew away from our dreams
It was never enough as I fell to the dark

I Needed Her

I needed her, so, to live I have withered
 Away, beyond my lovely brunette
Her story so tragic, a lifeless endeavor
How seldom it is that we forget
To retrieve what I thought no time can away
In every moment we always had kept
I needed her, so, to live I have withered
Away, beyond the moment she slept
To mask this away I knew not to cry
But bury all of my pain deep within
While angels do tell of a life once endured
By her fated release of a way into sin
And no answer can be enough to make sure
That hopefulness dawns deep beyond my life
I needed her, so, to live I have withered
Pouring despair while wailing my eyes

In Whispered Tone

How frightful it is for you to say
In whispered tone my name in vain
I had not once single handedly
Taken for granted the things you need
And knowing not once as deep within
This tone you dare to shout in sin
How dreadful it is for you to tell
Of things you retrieve from the depths of hell
In whispered tone toward the moon
I've longed for someone who was like you
But not once thought within your grace
You'd turn away from my embrace
So on I'll live without your touch
And miss you always oh so much
How frightful it was for you to say
In whispered tone my name in vain
