and here within my soul
i lived and gave this world to you
but still you felt un-whole
i wonder what i should have done
to bleed for you again
and have you smile my way once more
do you remember when
dreams where made of cadency
and beauty softly grew
to bury love beneath your skin
and constantly make true
the thoughts which laid within your heart
to make me smile again
so i may know your love once more
