For your tears and your smiles
moments you shed like autumn leaves
and bloom like petals of an unseen flower
will you think of me?
for every shade of emotion you go through
and all that this life does grant your way
as you move on from things and forget all awhile
will you think of me?
for your laughter to others who cross your path
lighting your eyes like a beautiful comfort
and stars turn nights into endless hours
will you think of me?
while you sleep in the ripples of your dreams
pebbles thrown by wishes echo
if I were to whisper your name to the moon
will you think of me?
for the words in this poem I wrote for you
when you awake and discover something's missing
holding the thought that I've kept for always
for you to think of me
